XPOLYPLUS DEMO01 2004

DEMO01.EXE is an auto-extracting application that provides the user complete information
about XPLAB and its products (mainly XPOLYPLUS and NEXOR).

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

To run the DEMOXP.EXE executable, the user needs a PC with al least the following
requirement:

- Processor 586 or superior;
- DOS operating system version 6.2;
- 64 MB of RAM memory;
- video card VESA supporting VBE with 800x600 resolution.

INSTALLATION

The DEMOXP.EXE executable can be copied on the PC hard disk in any directory chosen by 
the user. Once the executable is copied on the hard disk, the auto-extracting application is
started from the chosen directory with the command:

demo01<ENTER>.

In this way the application creates in the present position a new directory called DEMOXP,
which contains files and subdirectories of the XPOLYPLUS program.
To run the demo program, the user has to enter in the DEMOXP directory with the command:

cd xpdemo<ENTER>.

The last command to start the program is the following:

program<ENTER>.

PROGRAM

After the initialization of the program, it is possible to navigate the demo by pressing keys on 
the keyboard. The letter keys are used to choose the general subject:
- A for XPLAB information;
- B for product information;
- C for neXor demo;
- D is not used;
- E for exit.

For the two former sections the number keys are used to scroll through different slides.
Instead for the third section, the numbers are used to turn on the neXor leds in different 
ways and orders.
- 1 allows to turn on the leds in a sequential way;
- 2 allows to turn on the leds in a snake way top to bottom;
- 3 allows to turn on all the leds in a module in a sequential way;
- 4 allows the user to turn on any chosen led;
- 7 allows to turn off all the leds and to stop sequences.
In the field at the right top of the page the frequency for the sequences can be set in ms. 

To exit the program, the E key has to be pressed and, after a red window appears, the 
ESC key has to be pressed.
